Comedian Lydia Popovich is a hilarious comedian who got her start in the Bay Area and it hella shows. She talks with Melanie and Amber about experimenting early on with psychedelics and reading books that empowered her at a young age to create boundaries with her parents. She also dives into a relationship with an alcoholic and how that chaos impacted her life and what it was like to get out from under it.

It was such a fun conversation and we loved having her in the studio with us!

Hi, Im Melanie! I am a student and teacher of the human condition. My work as a trauma therapist, my personal healing journey and spirituality have been my source(s) of wisdom. I believe we all have everything we need to heal inside of us. My role as a therapist and fellow human, is to provide space and opportunity to help others connect back to this internal wisdom. We are our own healers!

Intentionally integrating comedy and entertainment into her life over several years, she cut her teeth in comedy production in Nashville, where she lives, and loves the growing comedy scene. Over 15 years, she has curated administrative skills and leadership roles into a career that includes great success and well-rounded knowledge. With a background in the legal and sales industries, she brings marketing, financial literacy, and management to this creative world so that artists can focus on their craft. At the same time, she handles everything behind the scenes.

She loves a good carb, her daughter, and a hot New Yorker.
